Marie-Lys Hagenmüller, photographer

The image often imposes itself on me as obvious. It is imbued with a strong emotion that precedes it and directs my attention to a detail that fascinates me. I observe the expression of forms penetrated by light, materials and colors; my eye becomes a contemplative, amazed, curious witness. I see the subject in reflections, in colors, in words, in light, in shadows, like a painting; a book telling me a story.

I use a digital camera and often work my photos in superimposition.
