Aurore HA FOUILLOU

Fleeing Vietnam at the age of 15, welcomed to the United States where she learned, practiced and taught the profession of nurse in a psychiatric environment, Aurore arrived in France in 2001 and chose Barbizon, the homeland of painters, to reconnect with the fiber family art through painting. She finds there a mode of expression, “her own language”.

His paintings read like so many chapters of his past and present life. Thus the images overlap, intertwine and are embodied in the colors and thickness of the substrate. Playing on transparency and matter, like “a gaze” open to the universe, the soul and the imagination express reality.

Acrylic on canvas 20x20 cm
The works are on a 3D frame. Other works are exhibited in the Museum shop
